On Friday 9 March, the selection committee met with all the shortlisted applicants and discussed their applications. We had a lively interaction in good spirit. After the presentations, the committee met to discuss the applications and decided to fund the “Makerspace” and “Community Outreach” projects.
The ‘Makerspace’ will be a space for learners of all ages and abilities where they can explore, invent, collaborate and grow – where they make their ideas come to life. Our students will develop skills in resilience, responsibility and creativity.
In ‘Community Outreach’, every student in the school will have an opportunity for service learning – it’s a project by the students, for the students and of the students. Through service learning in community outreach, students will be more prepared and compassionate citizens.
Check out the applications below.
