AISZ is a member of the Central Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA).
Many international schools in the central and eastern European region are members of CEESA.

The sports and activities facilitate the development of each student through academic, athletic, and artistic/cultural endeavors. At every activity or competition, CEESA Sports and Activities attempts to maximize the cultural, social and intercultural opportunities available at the host venue.
CEESA Activities include:
- Model United Nations (MUN)
- Speech and Debate
- Knowledge Bowl
- Cultural Arts
The AISZ After—School Activities Program (ASA) is comprised of enriched and recreational co-educational activities from arts to sports. We provide an equal amount of activities for all grade levels. The goal is to offer all K - 12 students a positive environment to exercise, learn new skills, and have fun while participating in various activities.
The ASA program consists of 10 – 12 week long sessions each semester. The first block of activities begin during the last week of September and end in December. The second block begins in February and ending in May.
After—School Activities are divided into the following groups:
Led by AISZ staff. Teachers and staff share an interest with students after school. Activities vary from semester to semester depending upon interest.
AISZ School-Associated Activities (Outsourced Non AISZ staff)
Instructors from other clubs or schools offer their services for AISZ students. AISZ’s role is to insure that the quality of instruction is maintained and to facilitate enrollment in these activities. Activities include sports, arts and academic programs. The instructors will set their own fee and payment will be made directly to them.
