There will be a series of workshops for the different grades offered by our faculty and guest presenters.
The theme of Arts Week is 'Journey'. Every workshop will revolve around 'Journey', in any way the students' imaginations and creativity will take them!
Students in Grades 1-10 have already received sheets with a list of the workshop descriptions offered to their grade level, and they chose their preferences. We tried to assign as many students as possible to workshops of their choosing.
From Monday to Thursday, students will be involved in two different workshops a day. They will attend the same two workshops each day from 9:00 - 11:00 am and from 13:00 - 15:00 pm, and be able to focus more on specific areas of the Arts.
The school day will start as usual at 8:00 am and finish at 3:15 pm from Monday to Thursday, March 26-29. Between the workshops, students will have regular class-time. After school activities will continue as normal this week.
The student rosters for each workshop will be shared with students and teachers on Wednesday, March 21.
On Friday, they will have an opportunity to share what they have learned throughout the week. Friday's showcase program will be determined and shared with the community as Arts Week progresses. We invite all of you to celebrate the Arts and join us on Friday, March 30th in the morning. School will be dismissed for spring break at noon on Friday.
We look forward to all the different experiences and journeys the students will take us on during Arts week!
