At the start of the current academic year, we decided that we should conduct a review into our work to find out what was working well and what we could improve on. We thought it was a good time to do it given that the school is moving to a new campus and following the school’s community summit and the work it’s doing on its strategic vision.
Check below for files of the review and the survey.
Colin Mitchell undertook the work for us – doing a survey, conducting focus groups and reviewing practice in other CEESA schools – and as a PTA, we’ve come up with this strategic review report. In it we identify three sets of challenges – communication, creativity and community – along with solutions which we hope to implement over the coming year and years in order to help us develop as a dynamic and fun PTA that’s part of the school community.
Just to show that we are serious about it, for example, to help us address communications, we are looking for a communications officer, who will focus on helping us communicate better with our school community.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Colin for all the hard work and to all of you, our school community, for participating in the review and giving us lots of thoughts and inputs and feedback.
